For an internationally operating client, we are looking for a Senior Business Continuity Management Consultant (m/f/x) with extensive experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) and IT Continuity. Freelance experts particularly appreciate the opportunity to work in an international enterprise environment, collaborate closely with subject matter experts, and help establish sustainable BCM standards and processes.
Your profile and responsibilities:
• ›› Several years of experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM) and IT Continuity
• ›› Strong expertise in Business Impact Assessments (BIA), Risk Treatment Plans (RTP) and Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP)
• ›› Experience defining BCM processes, quality standards and best practices
• ›› Supporting Application Managers and facilitating workshops, AMA and Q&A sessions
• ›› Ideally, experience working on Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects
• ›› Independent working style and excellent communication skills
• ›› German is a plus, but not required
Project details:
• ›› Start: 10 August 2026, no later than 17 August 2026
• ›› Initial contract until 30 September 2026, with a high likelihood of extension through the end of 2026
• ›› Location: Hybrid (approx. 70% remote / 30% on-site)
• ›› Project locations: Berlin, Erlangen and Munich
• ›› Travel: Approximately two trips per month, each lasting around two days (workshop dates will be scheduled flexibly)
• ›› Workload: 80% (4 days per week)
• ›› Language: English (German is nice to have)
